Aberystwyth coastal sunset

Taken tonight with the Lee 10-stopper on a Fuji X-E1 with the 18-55 zoom.

I accidentally left the OIS on, but it doesn't seem to have impact too badly on the sharpness. In fact-given the rough winds, it may even have helped!

Bacton Groyne

30 second exposure using the Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 and a Lee Big-stopper. Processed in Silver Efex.

The long exposure 'calms' the sea and gives the clouds some movement.

Plymouth Hoe

Well - this is my first play with the Lee filter's 'Big Stopper' - I also added a hard grad to balance the sky. Ideally I could have done with a longer exposure to blur the water more, but I think the shot works.

Straight out of camera it was rather blue, so I used Nik's Colour Efex to keep the top blue while neutralising the bottom.

Aberystwyth Coast

Probably best to view this one large. Used a 9-stop ND filter to allow a long exposure and blur the water a little despite it being a sunny day.

Mum and Dad at sunset in Cyprus

I wanted to keep the sunset colours while properly exposing Mum & Dad. To do this I dialled in some negative exposure compensation and used on camera flash to expose my parents.

As the ferry leaves Dunkerque

Using the staggering Zeiss 25mm f/2 and rapidly firing off three frames on the 5D Mark II which I sat on the railing for stability I created this shot in Photomatix.

Caernarfon pier

I'm in the area on business today and snapped this on the Fuji X100 while on my way to dinner. I love the little X100 - it's great to have a small camera with such a sharp lens that can produce pro-quality images.
