Birds eye view

A shot from nesting cliffs in the Farne Islands, off Northumberland. 

This was a 3-shot HDR using Photomatix. I chose to go in close & low with a wide angle lens.

There was blur on the birds heads as they moved between frames - the automatic deghosting tool did a great job!

Within the cage

Taken on an 830nm IR Converted Panasonic DMC-G3 with an Olympus 14-42 1:3.5-5.6 IIR MSC Lens. Le Chemin Fais'Art near Chapdes-Beaufort, France.

Processed in Lightroom with a slight split-tone applied. This is where you apply a different hue to the shadow and highlights.
