Mosque symmetry and Joel with Dragan effect

Here's a shot from my visit to Abu Dhabi last year. I liked the symmetry in this shot, although to achieve it I had to clone out person on the right hand side.

This is a shot from earlier in the year I fancied trying to process with the 'Dragan effect' - see link for tutorial! Lighting was a gridded dish from camera left, softbox camera right for fill.
