Sarah by the water's edge

A shot from Friday's shoot.

Wide open on the Canon 50mm f/1.2L to give a very thin depth of field . De-saturated the greens and added a vignette.

What'ya doing with that huge camera?

I was taking candid shots in church at a wedding, but despite my attempts to be discrete this little one had me fixed in her gaze.

Alone in Bristol and Bob's suggestion

I watched this gentleman for a while and came away feeling rather sad without actually knowing anything about him. He seemed lost in his own world and it didn't feel appropriate to disturb him.

A candid with the best lens I own, the Canon 85mm f/1.2 L II.

This is based on Bob's suggestion for a reworking of the image using an oval graduated saturation filter in Lightroom. I think it works quite well.

Gemma Aguilar out-take

A couple of years ago I did a shoot for the singer-songwriter, Gemma Aguilar.

I liked this shot, but it was never used for promotion material. I've been going through some of my past photos in preparation for my LRPS, fell over this one and decided to upload it for tonight's blog post!
