Selective colouring Sywell in 720nm

I liked the blue in this after reversing the channels from a 720nm shot, but thought the water tower would look better in B&W so had some fun with layer masks in Photoshop.

Revisiting and reprocessing.

Hi all

I fancied having another play with a couple of recent shots. I reprocessed St Basil's in HDR Efex Pro 2 and ГУМ mall in Silver Efex Pro 2.

Both these plugins are from Nik Software and they currently have an offer on their entire collection.

I tried to make St Basil's less artificial looking and  ГУМ mall look more vintage.

One more Michelle!

I was attempting a softer fancy look here. I blended a fractal converted layer with the reversed colour IR layer and then used a cross-processing filter in LR.

Jessica the photoshopped fairy!

Had a quick go at turning Jessica into a fairy in this shot.

First I took a portrait of Jessica @ f/2. I then asked her to leave the frame and with the camera mounted on a tripod to ensure the position was the same I took a three shot series bracketed to one stop.

I blended the three bracked shots in photomatix and then used the result with a layer mask of the portrait in Elements. I then used another layer to add the wings. I think I could do better with the wings by distorting them slightly to give perspective, but another time maybe!
