Icon in tiny Cyprus Church

Here is a shot of Icons from a tiny church we found in Cyprus

This is what the church looked liked form the outside:

 

 

 

I was surprised to find candles alight in the far end of the church - it looked deserted initially.

 

It must have once had very ornate paintings on many of the interior surfaces - here is a little of what remains:
